Be Bear Aware!

Please be aware that the bears in our neighborhood are currently active. The following guidelines are suggested, and please pass this along to your tenants if you rent:


  1. No trash can be stored in the hallways for any length of time. Fun fact: Bears can smell trash up to 18 miles away, so imagine how strong the smell would be from anywhere in Avon.
  2. When entering trash buildings, always use the door window to look inside before opening. The door opens outward, so stand a bit behind it as you open up, just in case.
  3. When leaving, make sure the door fully closes behind you and never prop it open.
  4. Always throw your trash inside the compactor and fully close the compactor door.
  5. If walking early or late, make extra noise and be aware of your surroundings. If the bears hear you, they will generally run the opposite way.

Tiered Water Billing

Due to the water shortage, LiftView will be following ERWSD tiered water billing, using the same percenatge incresase that is listed on their website. They are asking everyone to keep their total water usage to under 4k gallons per month.


Tier 1 Up to 4K .028/gal. This is the usual rate

Tier 2 4K-6K .037/gal 20% increase

Tier 3 6K-8K .081/gal 120% increase

Tier 4 8K-11K .134/gal 65% increase

Tier 5 11k-up .251/gal 87% increase. ERWSD also charges a $400 flat fee + increase for every gal. (LiftView will not pass along this charge at this time)


This will go into effect starting 5/1/26 and will remain in place until ERWSD changes the drought status.
